Iwate Industrial Promotion Center connects semiconductor-related companies in Iwate Prefecture and Taiwan

"Taiwan x Iwate Forum & Business Matchingmaking" was hold on the 24th in Morioka City

A business meeting to match semiconductor-related companies in Iwate and Taiwan was held in Morioka City on the 24th for the first time in the prefecture, with over 30 companies participating.

The Iwate Industrial Promotion Center and others invited Taiwanese semiconductor-related companies to the business meeting, which was held for the first time in the prefecture, and 13 companies in the prefecture and 19 companies in Taiwan participated.

First, the representatives of the companies in the prefecture gave about six minutes to introduce their company overview and the features of their products.

After this, business meetings were held at the booths set up by each company in the prefecture, and at the booth of a manufacturer in Hanamaki City that manufactures metal parts for semiconductors, the representatives of a Taiwanese company that designs semiconductor manufacturing equipment explained the features of their products and the manufacturing process. A representative from the manufacturer in Hanamaki City said, "Even in a short time, we were able to have a talk that will lead to the next step. We would like to appeal to our technical capabilities and seize further business opportunities."

Secretary-General of the Iwate Industrial Promotion Center, which held the business meeting, Hoshino Shunichi, said, "We hope that through exchanges with Taiwan, we can disseminate Iwate's excellent technology and that we will produce companies that will be active globally."
