Rayteng Creative provides project consulting services, with SPEOS, Zemax, and Lumerical, three optical software solutions under ANSYS, as the core solutions. Based on customer requirements, corresponding simulation processes and result analyses are provided.
In terms of SPEOS, by setting up conditions identical or nearly identical to real situations, including materials, light sources, etc., and based on human visual characteristics, realistic scene simulations are conducted. The simulation results can be used to analyze stray light and trace the ray path backward, identifying directions for product improvement without consuming production resources. The main research areas include OPD optical component structure design for reflection and refraction, OST optical sensor simulation for lens analysis and Lidar simulation, and design and analysis of HAD head-up displays.
In Zemax, we employ both sequential and non-sequential modes to perform ray tracing of optical components, beam propagation analysis, etc. We also provide Finite Element Analysis (FEA) data for structural, thermal, and optical performance (STOP) analysis of components, currently applied in optical system designs such as camera lenses and lighting systems.
For physical optoelectronic designs like lasers and photonics gratings, we adopt a professional approach using Lumerical FDTD for physical optics design modules, Mode for fiber and waveguide modules, etc. In the 3D environment of Lumerical, optical microstructures are constructed, and post-processing techniques are utilized to generate optical energy distributions in the dark/bright fields or reports on transmittance and reflectance at different wavelengths. Using suitable solvers, we provide customers with more accurate simulation results, and through software integration, analysis results are imported into simulations for easy viewing.
In addition to the above software solutions, Rayteng has independently developed a secondary software, Raytengtools, which is integrated into SPEOS and Zemax to provide faster simulation operations and optimize software conversion. Currently, we have also developed secondary development tools to meet customer-specific needs such as generating reports in company formats and batch processing.
